as previously discussed, in July 2009, i plan to participate in the World Outgames. The games organizers have accepted my policy amendment proposal to create a 3rd gender category for athletes who are 'in transition'. The policy was formally communicated on their January newsletter, which also includes a brief story specifically about me!

i ran 11.4k yesterday but only 1.4k today due to snow conditions. i did get in really nice swims as well. 3.5k yesterday and 2.2k today. felt really strong throughout both swims. hopefully they will get the snow shoveled so there will be pavement to run on tomorrow!
